12 games selected for national TV

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - For the first time in program history, the Fresno State football team has all 12 of its regular season games of the 2022 season set to be aired on a national television broadcast, as announced in partnership by the Mountain West, Fox Sports and CBS Sports Network on Thursday. The Bulldogs learned a select group of kickoff times and TV designations for games this coming fall.

Fresno State led the conference, along with Boise State, with all 12 of its games getting picked up by the Mountain West's national television partners.

The Bulldogs will play eight games on a Fox Sports Network platform, with the remaining four on CBS Sports Network.

"Having all 12 games selected for national broadcasts for the first time in school history is a testament to the excitement and energy surrounding our team this year," said head coach Jeff Tedford. "It's a huge opportunity for our program and Fresno State to be recognized on a national level each week. It will be great to showcase the Red Wave as they fill Bulldog Stadium in the fall, and show off the passion and support of Bulldog football."

The following Fresno State football games will be broadcast on a Fox Sports network:

Thursday, Sept. 1 vs. Cal Poly - 7:30 p.m. PT on FS1
Saturday, Sept. 17 at USC - 7:30 p.m. PT on FOX
Saturday, Oct. 8 at Boise State - TBD, FOX, FS1 or FS2
Saturday, Oct. 15 vs. San Jose State - TBD, FOX, FS1 or FS2
Saturday, Oct. 22 at New Mexico - TBD, FOX, FS1 or FS2
Saturday, Oct. 29 vs. San Diego State - TBD, FOX, FS1 or FS2
Saturday, Nov. 5 vs. Hawai'i -TBD, FOX, FS1 or FS2
Friday, Nov. 25 vs. Wyoming - 7:00 p.m. PT on FS1

Network selection and kickoff time for the five games still to be determined will be generally filled 12 days out from kickoff.

Bulldogs on CBS Sports Network
The following Fresno State football games will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network:

Saturday, Sept. 10 vs. Oregon State - 7:30 p.m. PT on CBSSN
Saturday, Oct. 1 at UConn - 12:30 p.m. PT on CBSSN
Friday, Nov. 11 at UNLV - 7:30 p.m. PT on CBSSN
Saturday, Nov. 19 at Nevada - 7:30 p.m. PT on CBSSN

This completes the second stage of the 2022 football schedule process and the identification of all non-Saturday games (no additional games will move).

Notable

Fresno State has all 12 games picked up by national television for the first time in program history
Fresno State has one game set to be broadcast on FOX - it's Sept. 17 game at USC. This is the first time the Bulldogs will be featured on that network since 2014 (Aug. 30 at USC)
The last time the Bulldogs opened the season at home, and played that game on a national televised platform was 2013 against Rutgers
Fresno State will play three games not on a Saturday this season - Sept. 1 (Thursday) vs. Cal Poly, Nov. 11 (Friday) at UNLV, and Nov. 25 (Friday) vs. Wyoming
Seven of the 12 regular season games have kickoff times set already
The 2022 Mountain West championship is set to be played on Saturday, Dec. 3 on FOX with a 1 p.m. PT kickoff.

Season ticket information
The 2022 schedule is highlighted by six home dates, kicking off the season with Cal Poly (Sept. 1) and Oregon State (Sept. 10). Fresno State opens its home Mountain West slate with hosting San Jose State (Oct. 15). San Diego State (Oct. 29), Hawai'i (Nov. 5) and Wyoming (Nov. 25) round out the home schedule.
