6/11/2022 6:10:00 PM | Track & Field
EUGENE, Ore. – Making her debut at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Cierra Jackson was unable to land a legal throw in the discus in wet conditions on Saturday afternoon at Hayward Field.
With rain picking up prior to the start of the second flight, Jackson's first two attempts went into the net. The redshirt freshman's last throw drifted just outside of the sector.
Jackson will return to Hayward Field in two weeks to compete in the US Championships after qualifying for the meet in April.
