Bulldogs conclude season at NCAA West First Round

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The Fresno State track and field season has come to an end at the NCAA West First Round in Fayetteville, Ark.
Junior Liz Tarczy saw a new personal-best mark in the high jump on Saturday, finishing 16th in the field. Her jump of 1.84m/6-0.5 was her highest jump since last season, and is No. 2 all-time as she inches closer to the program record that has been held since 1987 (1.86m/6-1.25). Her previous best mark was 1.83m/6-0.
On Thursday, senior Zoe Yeast saw her collegiate career come to a close with a 15th place showing in the hammer throw. Yeast had a mark of 62.09m/203-8 on her first attempt of the day. It was her second-furthest throw of the season.
Junior Jabari King opened up the action at the NCAA West First Round in the long jump on Wednesday. King did not have a mark in his three attempts. Despite his showing this week, King was the first Bulldog to advance to the NCAA regional event since 2015.
