129 'Dogs named Spring Academic All-MW

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West announced on Monday that Fresno State had 129 student-athletes make its Spring 2022 Academic all-conference team.
With the addition of 84 selections from football, cross country, soccer and volleyball in the fall, Fresno State Athletics produced 213 Academic All-MW selections during the 2021-22 academic year.
Leading the way for the Bulldogs this spring was women's track and field with 29 selections followed by swimming and diving (23), baseball (15), men's track and field (15), softball (13), men's basketball (8), women's basketball (8), men's golf (6), women's golf (6) and women's tennis (6).
To be eligible for 2022 Spring Academic All-MWÂ honors, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.
Student-athletes must have competed in 50 percent of the team's contests with some latitude permitted to accommodate those student-athletes who are injured and unable to compete in the required number of contests.
