2022 'Dogs in the NFL: Preseason Week #3

FRESNO, Calif. -Â The NFL preseason wrapped up on Sunday with the regular season set to start on Sept. 8. NFL rosters have to be cut down to 53 players by Tuesday at 1 p.m. PT.
Davante Adams, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
Adams did not play in the Raiders' preseason finale on Friday as Las Vegas defeated New England, 23-6 at Allegiant Stadium.
Raiders season opener:Â Sun. 9/11 at Los Angeles Chargers, 1:25 p.m. PT, CBS
Alex Akingbulu, OL, Washington Commanders
Akingbulu was in training camp with the Washington Commanders after being signed on July 30 after a stint in the USFL with the Philadelphia Stars.
Commanders season opener:Â Sun. 9/11 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, 10 a.m. PT, FOX
Kevin Atkins, DL, San Francisco 49ers
Atkins made one solo tackle on Thursday in the 49ers' 17-0 loss at the Houston Texans.
Atkins played in all three preseason contests this season.
49ers season opener:Â Sun. 9/11 at Chicago Bears, 10 a.m. PT, FOX
DaRon Bland, DB, Dallas Cowboys
Bland got the start at cornerback on Friday against the Seattle Seahawks making one solo stop, one tackle for loss and defended three passes in a 27-26 win at home.
Bland made nine total tackles, eight solo, in three preseason contests for the Cowboys as he looks to make the final 53-man cutdown.

Derek Carr, QB, Las Vegas Raiders
Carr did not play in the Raiders' preseason finale on Friday as Las Vegas defeated New England, 23-6 at Allegiant Stadium.
Raiders season opener: Sun. 9/11 at Los Angeles Chargers, 1:25 p.m. PT, CBS
Juju Hughes, S, Detroit Lions
Hughes made three assisted tackles on Sunday in the Lions' 19-9 loss at the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In three preseason contests, Hughes made eight tackles, including two solo stops.
Lions season opener:Â Sun. 9/11 vs. Philadelphia Eagles, 10 a.m. PT, FOX
Josh Hokit, FB, Arizona Cardinals
Hokit was cut by the Arizona Cardinals on Aug. 23 after being cut previously in August by the San Francisco 49ers.
KeeSean Johnson, WR, Atlanta Falcons
Johnson made one reception for 34 yards on Saturday in the Falcons' 28-12 home win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Falcons season opener: Sun. 9/11 vs. New Orleans Saints, 10 a.m. PT, FOX
Aaron Mosby, DE, Carolina Panthers
Mosby made three assisted tackles on Friday night in the Panthers' 21-0 win at home against the Buffalo Bills.
In three preseason contests, the Sanger native tallied nine tackles with three solo stops and a pass defended.

Netane Muti, OG, Denver Broncos
Muti did not play in the Broncos' preseason finale on Saturday, a 23-13 win at home over the Minnesota Vikings.

Ronnie Rivers, RB, Seattle Seahawks
Signed by the Seahawks on Wednesday, Rivers had a pair of carries for six yards on Friday night in a 27-26 loss at the Dallas Cowboys.

Mykal Walker, LB, Atlanta Falcons
Walker did not play in the Falcons' preseason finale, a 28-12 home win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday.

Charles Washington, S, Arizona Cardinals
Washington did not play in the Cardinals' preseason finale on Saturday, a 26-23 loss at the Tennessee Titans.
Entering his sixth NFL season, Washington left the Cardinals' previous preseason game on Aug. 21 against the Baltimore Ravens with an injury.
