A new premium hospitality experience – open to the public – will bring live music, food trucks and great energy to the White Lot, just west of Valley Children’s Stadium.
FRESNO, Calif. – Many changes are welcoming Bulldog fans as the 2022 football season kicks off on Thursday with Fresno State hosting Cal Poly. A new (returning) head coach, a new stadium name, and a new energy surrounds a gameday experience that is already one of the best in the nation.
A new premium hospitality location – open to the public pre-game in the White Lot – will bring live music, food trucks and great energy to the tailgating experience at Valley Children's Stadium. The NUTRL Zone – presented by NUTRL canned spirits, the official Ready-to-drink spirit of Fresno State Athletics, will add to the fun of the party that is the White Lot tailgate scene.
Opening three hours before kickoff, the NUTRL Zone will feature NUTRL canned spirits, domestic and import beers, soda and water, and a food truck – courtesy of Fresno Street Eats – that is themed to the game. Live music will be on the stage, and large flat-screen TVs will broadcast games from around the country. The 'March to Victory' will make its way through the Zone approximately three hours before kickoff each game, with the Fresno State Spirit Squad making the NUTRL Zone the place to be.
"We're excited to have built a relationship with the team at NUTRL," said Zachary Fraser, the general manager of Bulldog Sports Properties, the team that crafts and delivers game-day experiences with corporate partners. "Their team is excited to be a part of the Red Wave."
The Zone was designed in collaboration with NUTRL, Donaghy Sales, and built by Expo Party Rentals – the new events and tailgate partner of Fresno State Athletics. It is open to the public, open for all ages, and available to rent as a private tailgate space. For more information or to learn more about renting the space for a game, click here.
"Fresno State Athletics - For The V: The Central Valley" - Bulldog student-athletes, coaches, and staff proudly wear the "Green V" to show their pride in representing the Central Valley. Stories of why the Bulldogs play for the "Green V" will be shared throughout the next year with #ForTheV.
