'Dogs drop final nonconference match at Texas Tech

LUBBOCK, Texas – The Fresno State soccer team wrapped up nonconference play on Friday night, falling 2-0 to Texas Tech at the John Walker Soccer Complex. It was the sixth game away from home during the last month for the Bulldogs.
How It Happened
Fresno State saw its lone shot of the match come in the second minute as Jordan Lau got on the end of a corner but her attempt on goal was stopped by Madison White.
Charlotte Teeter opened the scoring in the 16th minute, hitting a strike under the crossbar from 30 yards out, just out of reach of Ella Wilson. The Red Raiders doubled their lead less than five minutes into the second half with a curling through ball to Ashleigh Williams at the top of the six-yard box.
