LOOKING AT THE NONCONFERENCE
While the nonconference season was a struggle for the Bulldogs, it did not come against a lack of quality opponents. Heading into their respective conference seasons, six of Fresno State's opponents during nonconference held a winning record with half winning at least four games.
FINALLY BACK HOME
To add to playing challenging opponents, Fresno State spent much of the last month on the road. In 29 days, the Bulldogs played six of their eight matches away from home. No other team in the Mountain West played that many nonconference road games this season.
NO. 100 LOOMING
With one more win, Head Coach Brian Zwaschka will earn his 100th career win. All 99 wins have come at Fresno State following appointment as head coach of the Bulldogs in 2009.
CEJA FINDING THE BACK OF THE NET
Fresno State's first goal of the 2022 season came none other than the team's active leader in career goals, Kassandra Ceja. With 12 goals in 31 games, the junior scored the 13th of her career in her 32nd match. Two games later, Ceja added No. 14.
