Jackson earns MW Field Athlete of the Week honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – For the second time in her career, Fresno State's Cierra Jackson has been named Mountain West Field Athlete of the Week. It is her fourth overall weekly honor from the conference.
At the Aztec Invitational, Cierra Jackson won the discus with a mark of 60.77m/199-4, the second-best throw in Mountain West history. The mark tops the NCAA and is the first throw over 60 meters this season, and the 16th in the last decade.
Jackson also placed fourth in the shot put at the meet with a mark of 15.70m/51-6.25. It was the second-best outdoor throw of her career.
