Sutherland inside Top 25 heading into final round in Morgan Hill

MORGAN HILL, Calif. – Fresno State's Matthew Sutherland moved up five spots on Tuesday at the Morgan Hill Regional after carding a 3-over par 75. The Bulldog is tied for 22nd.
Sutherland was steady throughout the day, sitting no lower than 1 over throughout the opening 16 holes. A birdie on 16, his third of the day, brought the junior back to even par where he started the round, a score which had him tied for 11th. A triple bogey at No. 17 dropped him 11 spots on the leaderboard, seven strokes off the lead.
Matthew Manganello moved up to 51st overall and is at 9 over. The junior carded a 5-over par 77. His lone birdie of the day came at the par-4 10th.
Manganello tees off his final round tomorrow at 9:31 a.m. PT while Sutherland will be in the following group at 10:04 a.m.
