Bulldogs earn 13 GCC All-Academic selections

FRESNO, Calif. - For the second year in a row, the Fresno State water polo team has had 13 student-athletes selected to the Golden Coast Conference All-Academic team. The team's 13 selections for 2023 ties the most in a single season in program history.

Hailey Andress, Megan Cranley, Elisa Grim, Daphne Guevremont, Kaitlin Howarth, Susanna Martinez, Kelsey McKenney, Paula Nieto Jasny, Brooke Ochoa, Jillian Schultz, Ella Simone, Isabella Sonkoly and Ashley Williams represent Fresno State on the 2023 All-Academic team by the conference.

Guevremont wraps up her collegiate career as a four-time GCC All-Academic selection. Howarth earns the honor for the third time in her career. Nieto Jasny, Schultz, Ochoa and Simone are all two-time honorees.

The team consists of members who carried a 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale), played in at least 50-percent of the team's contests in the 2023 campaign and be classified as a full-time student for all terms.
