2023 'Dogs in the NFL: Week 3

FRESNO, Calif. - As week three of the 2023 NFL season closes out, four former Fresno State football players saw action this week.Â
Davante Adams, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
Adams had a season-high performance in Week 3 with 13 catches for 172 yards and two touchdowns against the Steelers on Sunday.
The Raiders fell to 1-2 on the season with a 23-18 loss to the Steelers.Â

DaRon Bland, CB, Dallas Cowboys
Bland had a season-high five tackles (4 solo) in the Cowboys' 28-16 loss on the road against the Arizona Cardinals last weekend.Â
The Cowboys saw their first loss of 2023, and enter this week with a 2-1 record.Â

Derek Carr, QB, New Orleans Saints
Carr was forced to leave Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers with an injury after a third quarter sack by Green Bay linebacker Rashan Gary. The Saints led 17-0 when he left the game. Carr has been ruled to be week-to-week on his return from injury.
Before the injury, Carr threw for 103 yards and one touchdown on 13-of-18 in his pass attempts.
The Saints fell to 2-1 on the season after dropping the game 18-17 to the Packers.Â

Ronnie Rivers, RB, Los Angeles Rams
Rivers recorded one kickoff return for 16 yards in the Rams' 19-16 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday.
