Pace captures second MW Field Athlete of the Week honor

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Fresno State's Rachela Pace was named Mountain West Women's Field Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon. It is the junior's second honor in the last two weeks.
Pace becomes the first Bulldog to earn multiple conference "of the week" honors by the MW during an indoor season.
At the UW Invitational, Pace won the long jump with a mark of 6.31m/20-8.5. The mark ranks No. 12 in the NCAA this season and moved her up to No. 2 in the event in Fresno State's history.
Without a jump over six meters in her career, the native of Dingli, Malta had three over six meters on Saturday.
