SAN DIEGO- Fresno State women's tennis program wrapped up the final day of the San Diego Veterans Tennis Classic on the Skip and Cindy Hogan Tennis Center.Â
How it happenedÂ
The final day of the tournament began with women's doubles on Sunday afternoon. Eliza Dunbar and Gianna Mastro earned a win against Navy's Eklund/Lee, 6-2. Newcomer Bulldogs Klara Vukicevic and Andjela Lopicic saw their first pairing together, but fell 0-2 this weekend against USD, 7-5 and Navy, 6-1. Singles play closed out the weekend with all Bulldogs falling to their opponent.Â
Up next: It's another double tournament weekend for the Bulldogs as they compete in the Academy of Art Invite in Livermore, CA and the ITA Northwest Regional Championship in Berkley, CA. Both tournaments will begin on Friday, Oct. 11.Â
