'Dogs close Byan Clay with seven Top 10's

AZUSA, Calif. – The Fresno State track & field teams wrapped up competition at the Bryan Clay Invitational on Saturday, picking up seven Top-10 finishes. Four of those came in the high jump.
Liz Tarczy earned the Bulldogs' top finish of the weekend, placing second in the A section of the high jump. The freshman cleared an outdoor best height of 1.69m/5-6.5. In the B section, Kaitlynn Perez finished fifth at a height of 1.64m/5-4.5. In the D section, freshman Matilde Guarino also finished fifth at 1.54m/5-0.5.
In the B section of the men's high jump, Kamoni Reams took fourth, clearing a height of 1.93m/6-4.
On the track, Ceonna Pipion was a part of two of the Bulldogs' top finishes. The senior took seventh in the 200 meters with a time of 24.07. In the 4x100 relay she joined Antoinette Stubbfield, Iyanna Ross and Chloe Sharp to place eighth, clocking a time of 45.74.
In the field, Chloe Wood took 10th in the javelin with a mark of 43.42m/142-5, her second-longest throw of the season.
