Multis complete heptathlon on Friday at Bryan Clay

AZUSA, Calif. – Fresno State's heptathletes wrapped up the multi-event on Friday at the Bryan Clay Invitational, their first heptathlon of the season.
Madison Hutton placed eighth in the A section of the heptathlon, finishing with 5,346 points. It was 41 points shy of her personal best. The junior opened the multi-event with a new PR in the 100-meter hurdles, crossing the line in 13.79 to move into a tie for fourth on the program's all-time list.
In the B section, Kaitlynn Perez placed 11th with a PB of 4,868 points. The total ranks No. 10 in Fresno State's history. The senior recorded new PRs in both the 200 meters (26.28) and the 800 meters (2:20.88).
The meet will conclude on Saturday.
