Bryant, Tarczy earn MW weekly honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Following a solid weekend for Fresno State at the Mt. SAC Relays, Jordyn Bryant and Liz Tarczy earned weekly honors from the Mountain West. Bryant was selected Women's Field Athlete of the Week while Tarczy was named Women's Freshman of the Week.
Bryant launched a personal best throw of 59.68m/195-9 in the invitational section of the discus to finish runner-up. The throw came on her final attempt to move from fifth to second. It also moved Bryant up to third all-time at Fresno State. The mark ranks No. 2 in the MW this spring and No. 7 in the NCAA.
Tarczy cleared a personal best 1.77m/5-9.75 to win the A section of the high jump. Her clearance ranks No. 4 in program history. The jump also currently ranks No. 1 in the MW this spring.
The weekly honor is the second of Bryant's career and the first for Tarczy.
