Bryant moves into Top 10 in NCAA in 2024

SAN DIEGO – Fouling on her first two attempts in the elite section of the discus at the Triton Invitational, Jordyn Bryant smashed her personal best on her third on Friday. The junior landed a mark of 59.22m/194-3, narrowly behind teammate Cierra Jackson's season best.
With the mark, Bryant joined Jackson with a US Olympic trial "A" standard.
Bryant finished Friday's event in fourth place, second among collegians. Jackson finished behind her fellow Bulldog in fifth with a toss of 58.85m/193-1.
The 'Dogs went 3-4-8 in the women's hammer with Amelia DiPaola taking third with a mark of 59.81m/196-2. Jocelynn Budwig was fourth at 55.62m/182'-5 and Emma Harper was eighth with a toss of 54.25m/178-0.
TURLOCK, Calif. – A group of Bulldogs traveled to the Stanislaus Multis this week, placing 1-2-4 in the heptathlon. Ella Spaulding claimed the top spot with 4,523 points. Peyton Bitter finished with 4,321 points while Vivien Ernst had 3,650 points.
Spaulding had the top marks in each of the three track events along with the long jump and javelin.
