'Dogs wrap up day one in Washington

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. — The Fresno State women's golf team concluded the first day of the Leadership and Golf Invitational in 15th place, posting a score of 30-over 618 at Chambers Bay Golf Course.

Amelia Garibaldi led the team through the first two rounds, shooting a 3-over 147, placing her in a tie for 27th in the field.

Katelyn Lehigh finished 6-over, Vunnisa Vu shot 9-over, Motoko Shimoji was 12-over, and Ashley Tarkanian wrapped up the day at 19-over.

The final round will begin tomorrow at 8 a.m. PT.
