HOW IT HAPPENED
The game unraveled early for Fresno State as its starting pitcher was unable to record an out in the first inning, allowing four hits and seven runs—six of them earned—before being relieved.
The Titans capitalized on the early chaos, adding two more runs in the second inning to build a commanding 9-0 lead.
Fresno State showed signs of life in the fifth inning with Bobby Blandford's leadoff double, followed by Griffen Sotomayor's RBI single and Sky Collins driving in a run on a fielder's choice.
Justin Stransky contributed a solo home run in the sixth, but the Bulldogs' offense couldn't muster enough against the Titans and fell 14-3.
NOTES
- 2,004 members of the Red Wave supported the Bulldogs today at Pete Beiden Field at Bob Bennett Stadium, the largest crowd in 2025.
- Justin Stransky hit the Bulldogs' third home run of the season, a solo shot to left field.
