NCAA HISTORYÂ
Since 2013 four Bulldogs have qualified for NCAA Championships with three having the opportunity to compete. The qualifying diver in 2020 did not compete due to COVID-19 cancelations.Â
Fresno State will now send their largest group to the championship with three Bulldogs, all first-time qualifiers. Pulkkinen and Kalmar each made a pact at the conclusion of the 2024 season that they would both make the national championships - together.Â
Kalmar and Pulkkinen are first-time NCAA qualifiers and the first Bulldogs to qualify since 2016. They will be the first set of Bulldogs to swim both breaststroke events at NCAA's since the reinstatement year (2008). The breaststroker's are also the first pair of swimmers to qualify in the same year.Â
Ally marks the third diver in program history to qualify for NCAA's following Hannah Prigge and Yuliya Tykha.Â
Fresno State has sent four individual qualifiers to NCAA's since 2013, Hannah Prigge (2013, 2014), Dani Yoho (2013), Ugne Mazutaityte (2016), Yuliya Tykha (2020).Â
