'Dogs post a dozen wins at Bulldog Invitational

FRESNO, Calif. - Hosting its first full meet at Warmerdam Field since 2011, the Fresno State track & field teams combined to total 12 event wins on Saturday at the Bulldog Invitational. Cierra Jackson went 3-for-3 in her three throwing events to lead the 'Dogs.
Jackson won the discus (57.28m/187-11), hammer (56.63m/185-9) and shot put (15.55m/51-0.25). Harriette Mortlock completed the sweep for the women in the throws, landing a toss of 48.79m/160-1 in the javelin.
The Bulldogs' lone win on the track for the women came from Ashley Ochoa who finished the 800 meters with a time of 4:51.50.
Fresno State's men captured five wins on the track. The 'Dogs swept the relays with the team of Joziah Hagedorn, Bronson Ortlieb, Jabari King and Anthony McFall finishing the 4x100 in 41.17. The group of  Hagedorn, Garrett Ostrinski, Elijah Williams and Dane Koesterer won the 4x400 with a time of 3:17.89.
Koester, Williams, King and Ostrinski also picked up wins individually.
Koesterer earned his in the 400-meter hurdles, clocking a time of 54.00. Williams grabbed his in the 1500 meters, finishing in 4:00.0. Marcus Jauregui provided the 'Dogs with another win in the middle distances, crossing the line in the 800 meters in 1:58.71.
Ostrinski claimed his win in the field events, doing so in the high jump. The senior's top clearance registered 1.95m/6-4.75.
King earned his second long jump victory of the year. The sophomore's final attempt was his best of the day, registering a measurement of 7.02m/23-0.5.
