NEW ORLEANS – The Fresno State golf team finished the opening round of the Tulane Classic in third place, posting a 10-over 298 at the English Turn GCC on Sunday.
Two Bulldogs sit inside the top 10 on the leaderboard. Amelia Garibaldi leads the way in fifth place with a 1-under 71, while Katelyn Lehigh is right behind, tied for sixth with an even-par 72.
Vunnisa Vu is within the top 20, tied for 17th with a 4-over score. Berglind Erla Baldursdottir shot 7-over, and Motoko Shimoji posted a 9-over score.
