Rean represents New Zealand in FIBA 3x3 U21

XIAOGAN SHI, China - Incoming Bulldog, Ashlyn Rean spent this last week in China representing New Zealand in the FIBA 3x3 U21 Youth Nations League in for the Asia-Pacific region.Â
The 3x3 tournament was held over six days with a tournament each day and two pool games then a final each day. The Kiwi's made it to the finals in five out of the six days. New Zealand placed second overall in the course of the tournament, with a win over China on the final day of the tournament.
Rean joins the high ranks of U21 basketball players in New Zealand, with a national ranking of 20th and a world ranking of 863rd. In the youth women's individual rankings (U23) Rean ranks 103rd.Â
