Bulldogs honor eight for senior day

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State swim and dive will host UC Davis for the final home meet of the 2025-26 season at the Fresno State Aquatics Center on Saturday afternoon.
Fresno State will honor eight seniors prior to the start of the meet at 11:40 a.m.Â
Bulldogs BonesÂ
The Senior ClassÂ
Aliz Kalmar is one of the more decorated Bulldogs in the senior class. Kalmar is looking for a better repeat of her junior campaign where she placed second in the 100 breaststroke and third in the 200 breaststroke. Kalmar extended her stride to place 16th at the 2025 NCAA Championships in the 200 breaststroke, earning Fresno State points for the first time since 2016. The Hungarian has also seen her fair share of record breaking moments, earning multiple in a season. Kalmar was named MW Swimmer of the Week in 2024. Kalmar was named CSCAA All-American in the 200 breaststroke last season.Â
Miller Lung is a first-year Bulldog but already made an impact in her short time here. She is the most recent program record holder in the 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststroke. The senior also adds her name to the Aquatics Center records side in three relay events (400 medley & 200 medley and 200 free relay). The Clovis native swam well in the midseason taking third in the 50-meter backstroke at the Toyota U.S. Open Championships. Miller Lung earned herself two MW Swimmer of the Week honors this season, the most for a swimmer since the 2021-22 campaign.Â
Ally is a four-year 'Dog that is well decorated on the diving side. The team captain was also a first time NCAA qualifier last season in the platform event. She is a two-time All-MW recipient in her career. Last season she earned her best finish in the platform event in 2024, placing herself in the program record books. Ally is the first of the diving crew to represent Fresno State since 2014.Â
Arredondo is a four-year Bulldog that has been a steady presence for the team. The Tempe, Ariz native is a strong leader as one of the team captains. Arredonso was an All-MW honoree in 2024 in the 200 breaststroke.Â
Bedolla is the second senior of the diving group and spent two seasons with Fresno State. Bedolla is a strong competitor, in her first season with the 'Dogs she earned herself a MW Diver of the Week nod as well as a final appearance in the MW Championships in the 3-meter and 1-meter springboard. This season, she's earned another MW Diver of the week nod.Â
Laura Kalmar completes a strong career as one of the team's long distance swimmers. Kalmar is also a two-time All-MW honoree in the 1650 freestyle and the 400 IM. Kalmar competed in the TYR Pro series this summer taking an impressive fifth place finish in the 800 freestyle and ninth in the 400 IM.
Laskey is a four-year Bulldog hailing from Granite Bay, Calif. The senior has not only excelled in the pool but in academics as well. Laskey was named CSC Academic All-District and a two-time Academic All-MW & MW Scholar Athlete.Â
Rutkauskatie rounds out the senior squad and is the third team captain. The Lithuania native is a two-time MW Scholar-Athlete & Academic All-MW. The senior is a part of the core freestyle group seeing top swims this season against conference opponent Nevada in the 200 freestyle.Â

- Fresno State will honor eight seniors in Grace Ally, Samantha Arredondo, Natalia Bedolla, Aliz Kalmar, Laura Kalmar, Clara Laskey, Mackenzie Miller Lung, and Marija RutkauskatieÂ
- This is the final home meet of the season against UC DavisÂ
- Bulldogs will begin preparations for the Mountain West Championships in early February in HoustonÂ
- Fresno State is 4-1 in dual meets this seasonÂ
- Two Bulldogs have earned MW of the Week honors - Mackenzie Miller Lung is a 2x receipt of the weekly award while diver Natalia Bedolla earned the honor once this season
