- Saturday will mark the 28th all-time meeting between Fresno State and Boise State. The Broncos lead the series 17-10.
- Fresno State has won three consecutive meetings, its longest winning streak in series history. The Bulldogs defeated Boise State in the 2022 Mountain West Championship Game, the 2023 regular-season meeting and the 2025 matchup in Boise.
- The Bulldogs have won five of the last 10 meetings after winning just one of the previous 12 matchups from 2001-12.
- Fresno State owns the Milk Can following regular-season victories in 2023 and 2025. The trophy does not change hands when the programs meet in a conference championship game.Â
- The 2026 contest will be the programs' first meeting as Pac-12 opponents. The teams previously shared membership in the Western Athletic Conference and Mountain West.
