FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State softball team will return home to Margie Wright Diamond this week to open conference play with a three-game series against the Utah State Aggies.
BULLDOG BONES
- The Bulldogs sit at 11-9 on the season
- Fresno State returns home after going 2-2 at the Silicon Valley Classic with wins over Saint Mary's and Santa Clara

Fresno State finished preseason play this past weekend, as the team looks ahead into conference play while holding an 11-9 record on the season

- Fresno State will face one more non-conference opponents when they host Stanford on April 15th

The 2026 Fresno State softball team sees more Bulldogs that hail from the Valley. Freshman 'Dogs Arianna Aguayo comes to Margie Wright from the same stomping grounds as sophomore catcher Rylee Bocchini, Liberty HS in Madera, Calif.
- Incoming senior Lauryn Carranco comes back home to the Valley, the pitcher grew up in Clovis and attended Clovis High School
- Christal Lopez traveled up the 99 after spending time with the Roadrunners. Lopez grew in Fresno and attended Buchanan High School
- Giana Quintanar didn't have to relocate far either, the Clovis East graduate is trading in her time as a Fresno City Ram to become a Bulldog
OPPONENT OFF THE BAT - UTAH STATE
- Fresno State and Utah State will be meeting for the 66th time in program history on Friday
- The Bulldogs took two out of three games when they faced the Aggies in Logan, Utah last season
- Fresno State has won four straight games against Utah State at Margie Wright Diamond, and 14 of their last 15
- Fresno State has swept Utah State in seven of their last eight series at home against them
