'Dogs earn All-MW honors for indoor season

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Fresno State track and field team earned three All-Mountain West honors as the 2026 Credit Union 1 Indoor Mountain West Championships wrapped up last weekend. The team is composed of the top three finishers in each individual event and the top three relay teams at the Mountain West Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Fresno State earned two gold medals at this season's championships.
The Bulldogs' first gold medal was from Ella Spaulding, winning the pentathlon with a personal-best 4,022 points, the second-most in program history. She earned her second career goal medal, defending her outdoor heptathlon title. Spaulding earned her second career indoor All-MW honor.
Also in the pentathlon, senior Madison Hutton placed third to earn All-MW honors. She totaled 3,944 points at the championship, and earned her third indoor All-MW recognition.
Junior Liz Tarczy defended her high jump title, winning gold in the event at last weekend's championship. The junior has medaled at all three indoor championships of her career, earning a bronze medal and two gold medals.
