Bulldogs continue competition at Bryan Clay, Mt. Sac Relays

WALNUT, Calif. - Fresno State junior Matilde Guarino was the lone Bulldog female to compete on Friday at the Mt. Sac Relays, taking 12th in the long jump.

Guarino saw a mark of 5.90m/19-4.25 on her third jump. There were over 50 entries in the event and the Bulldog took a Top 15 finish on Friday.

Josh Dunu and Jabari King competed in their jump events on Friday. King took 12th in the long jump with a mark of 6.96m/22-10 on his third attempt. Dunu had a mark of 13.53m/44-4.75 in the triple jump on Friday.

On the track, Bronson Ortlieb clocked a time of 39.10 in the men's 200m dash.

Up Next: Liz Tarczy will compete in the high jump and Zoe Yeast will compete in the hammer throw tomorrow at the Mt. Sac Relays.

AZUSA, Calif. - A handful of Bulldog runners were in action on Friday for day two of the Bryan Clay Invitational, hosted by Azusa Pacific.

Freshman Hannah Pacheco clocked a time of 2:13.80 in the 800m. Pacheco finished 43rd in the field of nearly 130 athletes. It was a new season-best for the young Bulldog.

In the men's 800m race, Marcus Jauregui clocked a time of 1:53.42, Enrique Loredo had a time of 1:54.25, Jacob Diaz clocked a 1:55.66, and Jaden Tungate crossed in 1:57.00.
