Former 'Dogs kick off NFL Preseason

FRESNO, Calif. - Following NFL training camps around the league, teams are preparing for their first bit of game action with the preseason games starting up this week. Fresno State has 14 players looking ahead to the preseason games with roster spots up for grabs.

Fresno State has five defensive backs, four wide receivers, three linebackers, one offensive lineman and one running back across the league as the preseason games begin today.

The Bulldogs are represented by NFL Veterans including Davante Adams and Mykal Walker. Adams is entering his 13th season in the League, the longest-tenured active Bulldog in the NFL. Walker, who is with the New York Jets, enters year seven in the League but his second with the Jets.

Jacob Spomer and Al'zillion Hamilton are the newest to the League, both just down the road in LA with Spomer at the Chargers and Hamilton at the Rams. Hamilton is joined by a pair of former Bulldogs at the Rams in Adams and running back Ronnie RIvers. Former Bulldog, and Fresno State graduate, Julian Neal is with the Seattle Seahawks after being drafted No. 99 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft.
