2024 (JUNIOR): All-Mountain West honorable mention … appeared in and started all 13 games for the Bulldogs … had 52 total tackles … added 4.5 TFL, 1.0 sack, two forced fumbles, two interceptions, 13 pass breakups and one quarterback hurry … had a career-high 10 tackles with 1.5 TFL and a forced fumble at UCLA (Nov. 30) … ranked 10th in the FBS in passes defended, averaging 1.2 per game … had the fourth most passes defended in the FBS this season (15) … in just conference games, Hamilton had nine total passes defended with seven pass breakups and two interceptions to lead the conference in that category … a versatile player for the Bulldogs this season, also playing some in the nickel spot … Preseason All-Mountain West - Athlon Sports (Third Team), Preseason All-Mountain West - College Football Network (Second Team) … entered the transfer portal, but made the decision to withdraw and stay with the Bulldogs.
2023 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in all 13 games, started in the final 10 … had 31 tackles (22 solo) … added two interceptions and eight pass breakups … totaled 10 passes defended and ranked seventh in the MW in the statistic (0.77/game) … grabbed his first career interception at Arizona State (Sept. 16), and another against Boise State (Nov. 4) … had a career-high six tackles at Utah State (Oct. 13) … had at least one tackle in 12 games.
2022 (R-FRESHMAN): Appeared in all 14 games … had four tackles on the year … added five broken up passes … had a career-high three pass break ups against Hawai’i (Nov. 5) … saw time as both a cornerback and a member of the kickoff unit.
2021 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in two games - Boise State (Nov. 6) and San Jose State (Nov. 25) … did not record a stat … used a redshirt season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Hayward High School ... rated a three star recruit by 247Sports … had 36 tackles, 4.0 TFL and one sack in his two year varsity career … added four interceptions which he returned for a total of 133 yards in 2019 … had 10 passes defended and had one fumble recovery in his two years on varsity .. was also a key offensive player and special teams player at Hayward HS ... Hayward HS recorded a 10-2 campaign in 2019 – its most wins since a 12-2 season in 2006 – while going a perfect 6-0 in league play to capture a West Alameda County Shoreline Division crown. Hamilton was an integral part of that success, leading the team in both receiving yards and interceptions … ranked as 247Sports’ No. 145 cornerback nationally and No. 167 overall 2021 recruit in California … also played baseball … received offers from San Diego State, New Mexico, Wyoming, Nevada and San Jose State.
PERSONAL: From Hayward, California … son of Alfonso and Ukisha Hamilton … has three siblings - Alfonso Jr., Alonso and Alleesha … biggest athletic thrill is when he got a one-handed interception against the team’s rivals … chose to attend Fresno State because it was close to home and he loves the team … majoring in mass communications and journalism with an emphasis in advertisement and public relations.
