Prior to Fresno State: Was a 2011 first-team All-West Conference selection and in 2012 was a CCCFCA Region IV All-State first-team selection playing safety for Citrus College ... recorded 158 tackles in his career at Citrus and ranked second in school history with nine interceptions and third with 14 pass breakups ... set a new Owl record with 54 solo tackles in 2012 and had a team-high 89 total tackles on the season. High School: Was a first-team All-Sierra League safety as a senior at Damien High School under coach Scott Morrison ... played linebacker as a junior in 2008.
