Clint Walbeck | |
| Last week, Clint Walbeck added another victory to his eight match winning streak, taking his total to 21 with only three losses. Wrestling against his former workout partner, Dan Howe of Cal Poly, Walbeck recorded a pin in 1:30, his fastest pin yet and his eighth this season. The junior leads the team in pins and in win percentage (.875). Walbeck, who transferred from Cal Poly in 2002, is currently ranked 10th in the heavyweight division. He has a chance to make a run at nationals, as each week he moves up in the rankings with upsets over ranked opponents. He has been a solid and consistent performer at heavyweights all season long. | ||
