2026 (R-JUNIOR): Played in 52 games and made 44 starts for the Diamond 'Dogs ... batted .255 with 41 hits, four doubles, one triple and one home run ... scored 29 runs and drove in 17 ... ranked second on the team with 33 walks, helping post a .394 on-base percentage ... recorded a .978 fielding percentage while totaling 102 putouts and 31 assists ... added one stolen base and three sacrifice flies ... reached base safely 80 times during the season.
2025 (R-SOPHOMORE): Despite only appearing in 27 games and 10 starts for the Bulldogs in 2025, Ruby made an impact for the team with only 57 at-bats on the season… made four starts as the second baseman and six starts as the designated hitters… appeared as a pinch hitter 16 times… totaled 16 hits to give him a .281 average… hit his first career home run on May 13 against Pacific, Fresno State’s last home game of the year.
2024 (R-FRESHMAN): Appeared in 3 games for the Bulldogs as a pinch hitter… in three pinch-hit at-bats, Ruby went hitless with a walk.
2023 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted... did not participate.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Buchanan High School in Clovis ... 2021 All-League TRAC ... 2021 TRAC Champion ... 2021 Valley Section Champion .... Principal’s Honor Roll ... hit .471 from the plate as a senior ... earned all-conference honors in 2022 .. ranked as the No. 63 shortstop in California by Perfect Game and No. 317 player in the state of California.
PERSONAL: Son of Gabrielle and Garrett Ruby... has an older sibling, Finley... business major... enjoys spending time in nature in his free time... favorite athlete is Buster Posey because he played the game with class and supports his community...
