2025 (SENIOR): Earned the role of the starting centerfielder for the Bulldogs and started in all but the final two games of the season… owned a .288 average, .439 slugging percentage and .352 on-base percentage… totaled 61 hits, including six doubles, four triples and six home runs… scored 46 runs and drove in 27 RBIs… went 10-for-14 in stolen base attempts… season was cut short by an ankle injury of the seventh inning of the Mountain West Championship final game… ended the season on an eight-game hitting streak… named Mountain West Championship All-Tournament Team.
2024 (JUNIOR): Appeared in 10 games for the Bulldogs, where he came off the bench, primarily as a pinch runner or a defensive replacement in the outfield… at the plate for the season, Collins went 1 for 2, scored two runs while collecting 2 RBIs and a .500 batting average and slugging percentage.
PRIOR TO FRESNO STATE: attended Fresno City College for two years... two-time Second Team All-Conference... Gold Glove recipient... batted .340 as a Freshman and .313 as a sophomore... totaled four home runs, 63 runs and 52 RBIs at Fresno City.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Buchanan HS in 2021... won Central Section Championship in senior season... also on the basketball team in the 2018-19 school year.
PERSONAL: son of Kristan Aoki-Collins and David Collins... has three younger siblings, Dylan, Cruise, and Kira... favorite athlete is LeBron because he is the goat... chose Fresno State because he grew up here and wanted to stay close to his family… enjoys golf, lifting and basketball in his free time.
