2022 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in four games … recorded one tackle at Boise State (Oct. 8).
2021 (FRESHMAN): Saw action in all 13 games as a true freshman … totaled 26 tackles (18 solo) … added 5.5 tackles for loss … recorded four broken up passes … had a career-best four tackles in three-straight games - at Hawai’i (Oct. 2), at Wyoming (Oct. 16) and against Nevada (Oct. 23) … had a career-high 2.0 tackles for loss against New Mexico (Nov. 13) … part of a Bulldog defense who only allowed 20.5 points per game this season, while also holding two opponents scoreless. It was the first time since 2017 that a Fresno State team had multiple shutouts in a season … helped Fresno State to two wins over ranked opponents, both on the road. It was the first time Fresno State defeated two Top 25 opponents in a season for the first time since 2004, and the first time both wins came on the road in the 100 year history of the program.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Culver City High School … was an all-state selection as a linebacker … also earned All-League honors … was the league’s Player of the Year … played in all phases of the game at Culver City High School … rated a three star recruit by 247Sports … as a defensive player, Pait had 64 total tackles with 58 (42 solo) of those in his last season of play … recorded three interceptions in 2019 and returned them for a total of 153 yards. He also had two fumble recoveries and two caused fumbles … on offense, Pait racked up yardage in rushing, receiving and passing in 2019. He had 76 rushing yards and 377 receiving yards on the year. He was also 4-for-4 in passes thrown for a total of 130 yards and two touchdowns. He also scored seven touchdowns of his own, two rushing and five receiving … also a punt and kick returner for Culver High School. He totaled six kickoff returns for 256 yards in his two-year varsity career.
