2022 (SENIOR): Second team All-Mountain West defensive back … selected as a second team All-MW defensive back by Phil Steele … started all 10 games played this season … was out for four weeks due to injury during the week three game at then-No. 7 USC (Sept. 17) … was second on the team with 69 tackles (54 solo) … added 6.0 tackles for loss … had two quarterback hurries, four broken up passes and a blocked punt … had at least four tackles in each game played … recorded a season-high nine tackles twice - against Oregon State (Sept. 10) and at UNLV (Nov. 11) … had a blocked punt against Wyoming (Nov. 25), it was the first time a Bulldog had a blocked punt in a game since 2018 … had a season-high 1.5 TFLs in the season opener against Cal Poly (Sept. 1) … had a season-high three pass breakups against Oregon State (Sept. 10) … led the team in tackles in two games this season … was selected as a permanent team captain by his peers this year … preseason honors included: preseason All-MW defensive back, first team All-MW selection by Phil Steele and Athlon Sports, and a Shrine Bowl 1000 recognition … was added to the preseason watch lists for the Jim Thorpe Award, the Bronko Nagurski Award, the Bednarik Award and the Senior Bowl ... 2021 (JUNIOR): All-Mountain West first team defensive back … started all 13 games at safety for the Bulldogs … finished the season as the team’s leading tackler with 93 tackles (60 solo) … was No. 9 in the Mountain West in total tackles, third among all defensive backs … added 4.5 tackles for loss … had a forced fumble against Cal Poly (Sept. 11) … had a team-high two fumble recoveries, ranking No. 22 in the FBS … led the team with three interceptions, grabbing a conference-best two at Wyoming (Oct. 16) and one at then-No. 21 San Diego State … ranked No. 36 in the FBS in total interceptions … added a team-high six broken up passes … recorded five 10-tackle games, the most by a Bulldog defensive back since 2016 … had his first career 10-tackle performance at then-No. 11 Oregon (Sept. 4) … picked up a career-high 13 tackles (10 solo) at then-No. 21 San Diego State, leading the ‘Dogs to the win with 13 tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss, one interception and two broken up passes against the Aztecs … had three-straight games with 10-plus tackles - Nevada (Oct. 23), SDSU (Oct. 30), and Boise State (Nov. 6) … had a career-high 1.5 tackles for loss against Nevada … Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week (Nov. 1) … 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-District … part of a Bulldog defense who only allowed 20.5 points per game this season, while also holding two opponents scoreless. It was the first time since 2017 that a Fresno State team had multiple shutouts in a season … helped Fresno State to two wins over ranked opponents, both on the road. It was the first time Fresno State defeated two Top 25 opponents in a season for the first time since 2004, and the first time both wins came on the road in the 100 year history of the program.
2020 (SOPHOMORE): All-Mountain West honorable mention defensive back … played in four games this season … started all four … was third on the team with 27 tackles, despite only playing in four games … had 21 solo tackles … had a season-high eight tackles twice, in back-to-back games, at UNLV (Nov. 7) and at Utah State (Nov. 14) … all eight tackles at UNLV were solo stops … had his first TFL, forced fumble and blocked kick of the season at Utah State … added two broken up passes on the year … was voted a team captain as a true sophomore by his teammates … was named the team’s Defensive Skill Player of the Game for his efforts against Utah State … was also the Special Teams Player of the Game versus the Aggies … Phil Steele All-Mountain West fourth team selection ... named to the Fall Academic All-Mountain West team.
2019 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in all 12 games, and started five as a true freshman … was seventh on the team with 40 tackles (31 solo) … led all freshmen in tackles … named Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week on Nov. 4 … the first-ever freshman to be named Mountain West Defensive Player of the Week for the ‘Dogs, and the first to pick up any MW player of the week since 2013 … got his first career start at Hawai’i and went on to have a career-best game with nine tackles and an interception … had nine tackles (eight solo) the next week against Utah State (Nov. 9) … also had nine tackles against Nevada (Nov. 23) ... had a forced fumble against Nevada (Nov. 23) … had two pass breakups … Fall 2019 Academic All-Mountain West selection.
HIGH SCHOOL: Finished his senior season at St. Francis High School with 891 receiving yards … set a school record in receiving touchdowns - career and single season … was named the West Catholic Athletic League Player of the Year in 2018 … 2018 CCS All-Around Player of the Year … first team All-Nor Cal … helped St. Francis HS to a state championship title … carried a 3.7 GPA throughout high school … volunteered at local food banks and was a little league baseball coach.
