2013 (Junior): Honorable mention All-Mountain West ... started all 13 games at inside linebacker ... led the team in tackles with 97, which is the most by a Bulldog since LB Ben Jacobs had 106 tackles in 2009 ... recorded eight or more tackles in 7-of-13 games ... led team in tackles in seven games - vs. Boise State (16), San Jose State (14), Rutgers (8), Cal Poly (6), UNLV (6), Nevada (6), Wyoming (8), and stood second on squad vs. Hawai[apos]i (8) ... those 16 stops vs. Boise State was the team[apos]s highest total in five seasons ... 14 of those 16 tackles against the Broncos were solo stops, which tied for the fourth most solo tackles in a game by any FBS player that season ... also against Boise State, forced a fumble on Bulldogs[apos] 15-yard line in third quarter, and his pass breakup on a third-and-six helped stall the Broncos[apos] final drive in the Bulldogs[apos] 41-40 win ... added 2.5 tackles for a loss, three pass breakups and one fumble recovery on the season.
2012 (Sophomore): Appeared in 13 games ... totaled 24 tackles on the year and 15 solo tackles ... tallied a season-best five tackles against Colorado and Wyoming ... recorded one sack in the Hawai[apos]i game when he also forced a fumble on the play.
2011 (Freshman): Played in all 13 games as a true freshman ... strong performer on special teams ... had five tackles on the season.
High School: Selected All-CIF first-team ... top tackler for the Tigers with 68 in the first five games of the season ... had 15 tackles against West View and Mar Vista ... led the team in tackles with 11 against San Diego High and Clairemont as a junior ... finished his junior season with 74 tackles.
