2016 (Senior): First-team NFCA All-Region and All-MW recipient … tabbed the Fresno State Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week on Feb. 23 … ranked in the NCAA’s final 2016 statistics at No. 27 in RBI per game (1.05) … top run producer in the Mountain West with 58 RBIs, had the third-most plate appearances (204) and was eighth in total bases (103), hits (59) and walks (25) … logged 15 total multi-hit efforts with a career-high five hits versus New Mexico on April 8, and sported the longest hitting streak (8) on the team … drove in two or more runs on 13 occasions, including a career-best seven RBIs and three runs scored on March 29 versus Boise State … registered two home runs against Oregon State on March 6, accounted for two triples and doubled 10 times … started all 55 games at third base for the Bulldogs.
2015 (Junior): NFCA Pacific All-Region second-team ... tied for a second-best six home runs while posting a .361 batting average as the number six batter ... one of seven Bulldogs that claimed a .400 on-base percentage or higher and placed in the top three for the best slugging percentage on the team ... contributed to a recorded-breaking back-to-back-to-back home runs against Stanford, this being the first time Fresno State cleared the fence in three consecutive at-bats ... first double, home run and multiple RBI game came against Cal on Feb. 15 ... named the CSM Madness Mountain West Player of the Week on Feb. 24 … logged three hits against BYU, including her sixth home run of the season, and had a pair of RBIs at the 2015 NCAA Eugene Regional.
2014 (Sophomore): Started 19 of the 29 games she appeared in for Hawai’i ... ranked second on team in slugging (.524), fourth in batting (.286) and homers (4), sixth in doubles (3) and 10th in at-bats ... hit homers vs. UTEP, Portland State, Utah and San Jose State the opening three weeks of the year ... staked multiple hits in four of her first nine appearances of the year against UTEP (2-for-4, 3 RBI), Seattle (3-for-4, 2B, RBI), Utah (3-for-4, 2B, 3 RBI) and San Jose State (3-for-4, 2 RBI) ... her season high in RBI (4) came on her first career slam grand slam in the sixth inning in a 13-12 win over PSU (and helped team come back from an 11-1 deficit in the fifth inning) ... also hit a double vs. UCLA in pinch-hit appearance, and pinch-hit safely vs. Hampton in her first plate appearance of the campaign ... hit safely vs. North Carolina, Pacific and Cal State Northridge.
2013 (Freshman): Appeared in 40 games for Hawai'i with 32 starts - 28 at third base, two at first base and two as the designated player ... hit .165 overall (15-for-91) but fared much better in conference, hitting .316 (6-for-19) ... got her first collegiate hit against Washington (Feb. 8) ... had her best game at Pacific (May 11) in the regular season finale and went 3-for-4 at the plate with a career-best two home runs and six RBI ... had multiple hits vs. Minnesota (May 18) in the NCAA Regionals when she was 2-for-3.
High School: The four-time all-league first-team selection was a three-time team captain, two-time team MVP and league MVP as a senior when she posted .375 batting and .732 slugging marks, 16 runs scored and 12 RBI in 2011 ... helped Los Altos to league titles as a freshman and senior ... played third base as a freshman and catcher her final three seasons for the Hacienda Heights, Calif., institution ... also was named the school's "Rookie of the Year" in 2009, "Silver Slugger" award winner in 2010 ... played club ball for the San Gabriel Velocity Gold squad and was a team captain.
Personal: Parents are Patricia and Gustavo Villapando … has two older sisters and two older brothers … sociology major.
