2016 (Senior): Started in the infield for Fresno State in all 217 games during her collegiate career … ranked in the NCAA’s final statistics at No. 25 in sacrifice hits per game (0.25) … made all 55 starts at shortstop and hit in the nine spot in 54 games during her senior campaign … paced the squad and finished second in the MW with 14 sacrifice bunts … swiped one stolen base versus Sacramento State on Feb. 19 … drew a third-best 29 walks among conference foes … registered three multi-RBI efforts against Sacramento State (Feb. 19), San Diego (March 20) and UNLV (May 14) and accounted for two hits on 10 occasions … defensively added 68 putouts and a team-leading 110 assists, with a.932 fielding percentage … accounted for a season game-high four putouts versus Colorado State (April 23) and seven assists on March 18 against BYU.
2015 (Junior): Named to the All-MW second-team … started all 56 games in the infield and helped Fresno State to its first ever Mountain West conference championship ... named the MW Player of the Week after helping the `Dogs to a three-game sweep over Nevada ... recorded a season game-high three hits in four at-bats against San Diego State (April 4) while claiming her lone triple of the season ... led the team with six sacrifice hits and capped the season with a second-best 28 walks ... had one home run coming against San Jose State (March 29) and logged three doubles vs. Pacific, New Mexico and UNLV ... paced the team in assists (89) and ranked second in putouts (104) ... made her first postseason appearance at the 2015 NCAA Eugene Regional, claiming one hit and two RBI against BYU.
2014 (Sophomore): Started all 52 games, including 46 at second base and six at shortstop ... stood 79th nationally in the toughest to strike out category (1:17.4 at-bats), first team-wise and fourth in the MW ... ranked second on team in batting (.317) and doubles (7), third in hits (44), fourth in RBI (23) and fifth in on-base percentage (.362) ... in MW action, owned a .325 hitting mark (25 H, 4 2B) and had Fresno State's second-highest RBI total (17) ... had a team-high six game-winning RBIs coming against No. 6 Washington, San Diego State, Utah State, New Mexico (twice) and Colorado State ... her 13-game hit streak was the 13th-longest in school history ... among nine multi-hit games on the season, a pair came vs. San Diego State (2-for-3) and San Jose State (3-for-4) ... enjoyed a team season-high in hits (4) and RBI (5) in separate games at New Mexico ... also had multi-hits in a doubleheader at St. Mary's (2-for-4, 3-for-3), at San Jose State (3-for-4), Boise State (2-for-4) and Nevada (2-for-3), and vs. Appalachian State (2-for-3, 2B, RBI) ... helped the team turn 25 double plays on the year, ranking 12th nationally and first in the MW ... finished with a .963 fielding mark on the season with 113 putouts, 94 assists and eight errors.
2013 (Freshman): Academic All-MW ... made 54 game starts as a Bulldog infielder, competing at both second and third base ... logged 26 hits, five doubles, a home run, 11 RBI, 13 runs and six sacrifice hits ... her team-high 21 walks ranked ninth in the MW ... lined a career-best two hits against UNLV, San Diego and Cal State Northridge ... collected two RBI against San Diego and UNLV ... socked first career home run against Texas State ... helped the Bulldog infield turn 19 double plays, tallied 77 putouts and made 111 assists.
High School: A four-time letter winner in softball at Del Oro High School ... team was Sierra Foothill League champions all four years ... named first-team all-league four years in a row ... was MaxPreps player of the week ... team captain her last two years ... named team MVP ... ended high school career with a .442 batting average, .766 slugging percentage, and nine home runs.
Personal: Parents are Debby and Mike Smith ... has one younger sister, Courtney ... enjoys canoeing, camping, going to the beach, and jet skiing ... biggest athletic thrill was hitting a walk-off homerun ... most admires her parents and sister because they have always been there for her and taught her everything she knows ... criminology major with an emphasis in forensic behavioral science ... also recruited by Oklahoma, Sacramento State, and Wisconsin.
