2016 (Senior): Finished her highly-decorated career as the Fresno State Athletics Female Bulldog of the Year, NFCA first-team All-Region, Mountain West Pitcher of the Year and first-team All-MW … tabbed the NFCA Pitcher of the Week on Feb. 16 and earned the league’s weekly honor twice (Feb. 16 and May 3) … led the Mountain West with 25 wins, 194.1 innings pitched, 140 strikeouts (52 looking) and 31 games started during the 2016 season … struck out a season-high 11 batters versus Nevada on May 8 and tossed eight innings twice (Feb. 20 and 27) … Fresno State’s top 10 career leader in games started (2nd, 135), appearances (2nd, 161), saves (4th, 5), wins (6th, 88), strikeouts (6th, 686), no-hitters (6th, 4), innings pitched (7th, 821.2) and complete games (10th, 87) ... Mountain West career leader in games started (135), second in wins (88), complete games (87) and shutouts (24) … counting conference games only, she paced the MW in career wins (47), appearances (72), games started (61), complete games (46), shutouts (14), innings pitched (375) and strikeouts (342) … was an active NCAA leader at No. 16 in victories (25) and No. 140 in strikeouts (140) … signed a professional contact with the Dallas Charge upon graduation.
2015 (Junior): Named first-team All-Region as the only Mountain West recipient recognized by the NFCA ... 2015 Mountain West Pitcher of the Year and first-team All-Conference … earned Spring 2015 Academic All-MW honors … of the 13 MW Pitcher of the Week accolades issued this season, she claimed six including four consecutive honors (April 7-28) … first pitcher in league history to claim four consecutive MW weekly honors … posted a 28-11 record as the team’s ace and paced the league with a 2.25 ERA and 242 strikeouts ... recorded 88 more strikeouts than her sophomore campaign and had seven or more in 18 of her 43 appearances … logged a season high 11 strikeouts against Nevada on April 24 ... tossed 23 complete games with five or more innings in 29 contests and defensively added 44 assists and seven putouts ... ranked in the nation’s top 50 at No. 21 in shutouts (8), No. 13 in victories (28) and No. 24 in total strikeouts (242) ... named the College Sports Madness MW Pitcher of the Week on April 7 ... led Fresno State to 28-of-40 wins as one of the top two pitchers in the Pacific Region and appeared in all but three conference games ... tossed five shutouts and allowed two or fewer runs hits in 14 of her 18 starts ... first career perfect game and third no-hitter came against Iowa on March 6 ... guided Fresno State to its first postseason appearance since 2011, earning both starts against North Dakota State (May 14) and BYU (May 15) at the 2015 NCAA Eugene Regional.
2014 (Sophomore): All-MW returnee and team's ace stood top 100 nationally in shutouts (25th, 8), wins (48th, 20), ERA (86th, 2.16), hits allowed (91st, 5.63 p/ 7 innings) and strikeouts (97th, 160) ... led the Mountain West in lowest opposing batting average (.221) and strikeouts looking (52), stood second in ERA (2.17), third in strikeouts and wins, and fourth in saves (2) and starts (30) ... won first MW Pitcher of the Week honor of season in late April after pitching her second career no-hitter and first of year in a 2-0 victory over San Jose State ... also edged a pair of NCAA Tournament veterans with 1-0 shutouts - No. 14 Nebraska and N.C. State - and had two more wins vs. NCAA Tournament returnees - San Diego State and San Jose State ... among her eight shutouts on the year, others came vs. Southern Utah (2-0), St. Mary's (3-0), Utah State (6-0), New Mexico (20-0) and UNLV (1-0) ... logged seven or more strikeouts in six appearances, including a season-high nine strikeouts vs. Ohio State ... allowed three or less hits in 10 of her 30 starts, and one earned run or less in 17 of those starts ... pitched seven innings or more in 17 contests (including three extra-inning games) ... defensively, logged a 1.000 fielding percentage (31 assists, 12 putouts).
2013 (Freshman): 2013 All-Mountain West honoree ... named Mountain West Pitcher of the Week twice ... became the first freshman since 2006 to throw a no-hitter, it was also the 70th in Bulldog history ... notched a 15-14 record (7-3 mark in MW play), 3.00 ERA, 20 complete games and seven shutouts ... ranked top five in the MW in starts (31), appearances (third, 39), strikeouts (fourth, 144), lowest opposing batting average (fourth, .242), innings (fourth, 193.2) and wins (fifth, 15) ... also threw three one-hitters, including a scoreless, six-inning stint vs. then-No. 6 California ... dealt 21 consecutive scoreless innings in three starts to conclude conference play ... among her four games with +10 strikeouts, struck out a career-high 12 against New Mexico, while others came vs. Colorado State (11), No. 6 Cal (10) and New Mexico (10).
High School: A three-time letter winner in softball at Arroyo Grande High School ... named ESPN second-team all-star in 2010 and 2011 ... league MVP and all-county MVP her junior and senior year ... named the league MVP pitcher and Most Outstanding Senior Athlete in 2012 ... pitched two perfect games throughout her high school career ... recorded 764 strikeouts in her three varsity seasons.
Personal: Parents are Sandra and Bill Compton... has two older siblings, Chris and Jaclyn ... business major ... enjoys spending time with family ... most admires her dad for pushing her to become a better athlete and person.
