High School: Competed in the shot put and hammer throw for Buchanan … set a personal best in the shot put of 53’-4” … finished fourth at West Coast Relays … placed second in CIF North Area … took fourth at CIF Valley.
Personal: Born in Fresno, Calif. … son of Jennifer and Anthony Arruda … has two older brothers, Aaron and JT … Aaron is a former Fresno State baseball player (2014-17) … JT is a current member of the Fresno State baseball team … majoring in kinesiology.
