2024 (SENIOR): Started all 52 games at first base … led the team with a .376 batting average … recorded 62 hits and a team-high 39 RBIs … logged a team-high 14 doubles and six home runs … finished the season with a .582 slugging percentage and .458 on-base percentage … stole three bases … finished the season with a seven-game hitting streak … had 15 games with multiple hits … had a team-best 10 games with multiple RBIs … logged a season-high three hits four times … tallied a season-high five RBIs against Hawai’i (Feb. 23) … was named the MW Player of the Week on April 8 … earned All-MW First Team honors.
2023 (Cal): Played in 45 games with 29 starts … batted .231 on the season with 21 hits and 20 RBIs … owned a .538 slugging percentage … hit eight home runs … finished the season with a .986 fielding percentage.Â
2022 (Cal): Played in 29 games and started 23 ... went 2-for-3 with a home run at Utah on 4/10 ... smacked second homer of the season at Miami on 4/24 ... tallied five extra base hits on the season ( three doubles, two home runs).
2021 (Cal): Appeared in 21 games with 17 starts...batted .306 on the year with a .417 slugging percentage...her infield single scored the lone run in Cal’s 1-0 win over UC Santa Barbara on 3/6...blasted her first career home run in Cal’s 21-4 win at Santa Clara...smacked an RBI double off the top of the wall vs. Utah on 4/11...earned her first two multi-hit games of her career on Feb. 27 vs. Stanford...tabbed to the 2021 Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2020 (Cal): Appeared in 13 games with eight starts...Collected four hits, including one in the season finale...Drew a walk and a run scored in the same three consecutive games.
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity player at Golden Valley High School … First Team All-Conference...Collected Team, Offensive and Defensive MVP Awards…2016 Ranked No. 38 by FloSoftball…2019 Ranked No. 62 by Extra Innings…Finished her senior year with a batting average of .657, .750 OBP, 1.342 slugging…Ended her career with 19 HRs and 88 RBI…Her squad won the championship at USA Preps in Las Vegas…and the national championship in Reno…Earned the Principal’s Award and the Scholar-Athlete Award, and also on the Honor Roll.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Iris Medellin … favorite athlete is Benny Agbayani … enjoys journaling, finding new music and trying new restaurants … chose Fresno State because of the competitive edge of the program, it’s close to home and a great home stadium.
