Bulldog Wrestling Loses to Oklahoma

FRESNO, Calif - The Bulldogs opened their dual match season with a tough loss to the No. 3 Oklahoma Sooners 42-4 at Central Oklahoma?s Hamilton Field House in Edmond, Okla.

Paris Ruiz (Sr., Fresno, Calif.) was the only bright spot for Fresno State, as he upended Bo Maynes in a major decision win 10-1. Ruiz, the lone Bulldog victor, upped his overall record to 9-2.

Fresno State?s day was not done as they will finish off their twin bill against the host Central Oklahoma Bronchos.
