Wrestling Defeats Central Oklahoma 23-19

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State improved their dual match record (1-1) with a 23 to 19 win over the Central Oklahoma Bronchos in Edmond, Okla.
Dan Jackson (So., Kingsburg, Calif.) opened up competition against the Bronchos with a pin of Steve Elkins.
Jackson?s pin set the table for the Bulldogs, as heavyweight Grant Harrington (So., Visalia, Calif.) pinned Bryan Wilson and extended the ?Dogs lead to 12-6.
Paris Ruiz (Sr., Fresno, Calif.) extended his overall record to 10-2 as he defeated Weston Moore in a technical fall victory 17-1.
Ralph Lopez (Fr., Fresno, Calif.) and Matt Demers (Jr., Modesto, Calif.) rounded out the Bulldogs victory with one win each. Lopez defeated Joe Schneider 16-10 and Demers handed Cody Thompson a 7-1 loss.
The ?Dogs will come home for their next dual match against Cal State Fullerton on Jan. 5, 2000, at 7 p.m.
