Fresno State will match up against the NAIA power Southern Oregon Raiders, the dual match will be a prelude to the annual UC Davis tournament in Davis, Calif. The Raiders have dominated the NAIA division by producing 29 consecutive winning seasons and racking up three NAIA Championships (1978, 1983 and 1994). In their last home dual match event on December 18, Southern Oregon had a heartbreaking lost to No. 20 Oregon State (20-18). The ?Dogs will have to train their sights on this scrapy Raiders? wrestling team before moving on to the UC Davis Tournament. Last year at the annual wrestling event, Fresno State had three champions (Steven Abas 125 lbs., Ralph Lopez 141 lbs. and Demetrist Huff 197 lbs.) each finishing with 4-0 records at the two-day tournament. With a 7-5 mark, Lopez hopes to improve his overall record and bring home another championship.
