Fresno State Wrestling Wins Handily Over Southern Oregon

Jan. 8, 2000 FRESNO, Calif.-In a tune-up dual match before the annual UC Davis Tournament in Davis, Calif., the Bulldogs vanquished the Southern Oregon Raiders 30-9.
No. 8 Paris Ruiz (Sr., Fresno, Calif.) extended his winning streak to three matches as he earned a technical fall victory over Justin Thurman 16-0.
Four Bulldogs picked up major decision wins: Matt Demers (Jr., Modesto, Calif.) defeated Jeremy Wynla 13-2, Tim Cornish (Sr., Manhattan, N.Y.) finished off Chris Huntley 11-1, Darrick Duran (So., Fresno, Calif.) took out Ryan Green 16-7 and Ralph Lopez (Fr., Fresno, Calif.) upended Jeremy Wynla 13-2.
The ?Dogs will be home against the Boise State Broncos, the dual match will take place in Fresno State?s North Gym on Jan. 12 at 7 p.m.
