FRESNO, Calif. - No. 17 Fresno State defeated UCSB yesterday 5-2. The Bulldogs improve to 9-3.
Peter Luczak (Jr., Melbourne, Australia) was the only Bulldog to lose in singles. He was defeated at the No. 1 seed by Simon Shew 7-6, 6-4. UCSB won the doubles point with wins on courts No. 1 and No. 3.
Fresno State returns to action this Saturday at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center at 10 a.m. where they will host Portland and Santa Clara.

The Bulldogs won No. 1 - No. 5 in singles, the only loss came to Blake Smittcamp (So., Clovis, Calif.) at No. 6.
