Sophomore Jim Medeiros starts at the 149 division on the wrestling team. As the only freshman starter on Fresno State's 2000-01 team, Medeiros had a 20-16 overall record, going 8-11 in dual meets. He took fourth place at the Fullerton Open and second place at the All-California Tournament. 20-year-old Medeiros is from Fremont, Calif., and attended American High School. He has four brothers, three younger and one older. His hobbies include art, writing and drama.
Q: What is something people might not know about you? A: I'm a theater arts minor and I've been in two on-campus plays.
Q: Favorite fast food?
A: Carl's Jr.'s burgers are the best.

A: Eclipse
Q: If you could be a superhero who would you be?
A: The Incredible Hulk
Q: What's the most embarrassing Halloween costume you wore as a kid?
A: My mom dressed me up as a clown.
Q: Favorite professional team?
A: Miami Dolphins
Q: Favorite clothing accessory?
A: I'm known for wearing strange things to wrestling finals when I'm in them. I wore a poncho to section finals once. Another time I wore an Elvis jumpsuit to the section finals. To the state finals I wore a jumpsuit from Germany.

A: DiCicco's
Q: How do you prefer your toilet paper: rolling up or down?
A: Rolling down
Q: Describe the worst hair-style you've ever had?
A: When I was seven, I had a mullet cut with spikes on the top and MC Hammer lines on the side.
Q: As a kid, what did you want to be when you "grew up?"
A: Same thing I want to be now, a movie star. But now I want to write the movies and star in them.
Q: If you were to get a tattoo, what would it be and where?
A: I wouldn't get one. They're ugly and they're forever.
Q: Favorite place to go on vacation?
A: Florida

A: Raisinetts and popcorn

A: I pinned a guy in 18 seconds when I was 15.
