Men's Tennis Falls to No. 3 UCLA

FRESNO, Calif. - Though the team point had already been lost, Nic Fustar's impressive defeat of UCLA's No. 13 Marcin Matakowski at the No. 2 position provided a positive note to the 6-1 Bulldog loss.
After splitting the first two doubles matches, Hector Almada and Alex Krohn lost to top-ranked Marcin Matakowski and Jean-Julien Rojer 8-4.
With two consecutive 6-1 losses, the Bulldogs are 0-2 this season.
Home play begins with a double header on Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Spalding G.Wathen Tennis Center. The Bulldogs will face Cal Poly at 10 a.m. and Nevada at 2 p.m.
